The Mole Clinic (2008–2010)

SCanSol Ltd run skin cancer screening centres providing the TELEDerm™ service offering rapid, remote diagnosis of an abnormal mole or other skin lesion by specialists additionally qualified in dermoscopy. Dermoscopy provides a highly magnified view beneath the surface of the skin to show signs of skin cancer invisible to the naked eye.

I was commissioned to build an EPR (Electronic Patient Record) system using FileMaker to facilitate the keeping of records and the provision of rapid evaluation and diagnosis online.

Private Healthcare UK, Treatment Abroad (2005–2008)

Content management and copy-writing for these high profile private health portal web sites.

Sussex Health Care (2007)

Sussex Health Care is an independent group of care homes. I researched, wrote and edited copy for their new web site.

Charity & Educational

Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (2009–2010)

Human Rights and educational charity. In 2009 I built a system to allow their small office with a national remit to deal efficiently with the huge numbers of requests for campaign packs, to generate mailings and to track correspondence.

The Arts

Artangel (2008–2010)

Artangel commission artworks and projects by outstanding contemporary artists. I have worked with them to rebuild their contacts and patrons database making it more efficient and user-friendly.

Hidden Art / Mazorca Projects Ltd (2003–2010)

Hidden Art is an initiative to promote and showcase designer-makers throughout London and the UK. I have held a wide brief with Mazorca including database development and marketing. In 2004 I took on a six-month contract to project-manage a new web site and content management system. I managed the process from working up of tenders, appointment of contractor, building new structures and data migration, to writing manuals and training staff.

East London Dance (2005–2010)

Based in Stratford, East London Dance run an active programme of events. I built a database to help them organize and produce their mailings and to keep track of contacts' attendance at performances and courses.

Michael Clark Company (2008–2010)

This dance company based at the Barbican in London commissioned a system to catalogue and organize their archive of video and images.

Craft Central (2008)

This Clerkenwell organization supports craftspeople and designer-makers. I worked with individual makers to devise a very simple and inexpensive CRM (customer relationship management) system with product inventory and billing.

Retail, manufacturing, service and hire

Panache Display (2001–2010)

Panache sell a range of high quality shop display mannequins. I built an online database that allows all the team to access client data and create orders and invoices. I have also been involved in the design and copy-writing of their web site.

Lambie-Nairn (2008–2010)

This leading graphics and branding specialist required a system to record and catalogue their suppliers, resources and clients.

Truestone Capital (2009)

An investment intelligence company that specializes in bringing together European investors and Australian companies. They needed a system to list all their companies (with current Australian stock exchange valuations etc) and all their investors. The database also tracks introductions, meetings and outcomes.

Mannequin Hire (2008–2010)

The rental side of the Panache Display business, they hire display mannequins for events, photoshoots, promotions.They have an online database to track hire jobs and mannequin stock control.
